Seba Social Foundation (SSF) is a non-political, non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to social welfare and socio-economic development. Established in 2009 by a group of committed and sincere individuals under the leadership of Jashim Uddin Ripon, a member of a respected Muslim family from Hazirhat village in Kamolnagor Upazila, Lakshmipur District, Bangladesh, SSF was born out of a pressing need to address widespread poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, and malnutrition, which adversely affect the health and well-being of the majority of the population.
SSF's people-centric development programs in Lakshmipur district focus on sustainable socio-economic growth by leveraging local and external resources. We have taken significant steps to address local climate change issues, enhance agro-based production, reduce poverty, develop skills, create employment opportunities, and ensure education, health, and human rights for all.
To improve the income of women, SSF has initiated Income Generation Activities (IGA) aimed at creating both on-farm and off-farm employment opportunities for our women’s groups.
This website has been created to showcase the views and activities of SSF. We welcome suggestions and contributions from our well-wishers and donors to help us expand our initiatives and further the development of impoverished communities.
